Director

I have been Director of Sunkids Eight Mile Plains since the end of February 2009 after being in the Childcare industry for 8 years. I am currently studying my Advanced Diploma with the intention of completing it in 2010. 

During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful children of all ages from birth – 12 years. I believe that every child deserves a high quality of care and I strive to achieve this on a daily basis. I believe that a child needs to feel comfortable in their surroundings in order to develop high self-esteem, which then allows them to explore their environment and develop to the best of their potential. 

I particularly enjoy forming a close relationship with all my families in the centre – celebrating milestones and enjoying watching each child blossom and grow. 

When I am not at the centre, you will find our family taking in the stunning beauty of Australia on one of our many 4WD camping adventures. We love the stillness of a sunrise over a country creek, or watching the sunset over one of the glorious mountains in South-East Queensland.
